Canada InfoNet is an 8-week pre-arrival program that helps you plan, learn, and connect to gain the knowledge, skills, and network needed to succeed in the Canadian work environment.
PREPARE – Work one-on-one with an Employment Specialist to discuss your career path, your job search and identify the right job opportunities. You will receive support on:
- Career planning
- Licensure pathway
- Job search strategies
- Identify the right job opportunities
LEARN – Services that provide you with relevant information for your career and job search in Canada, such as:
- Industry geared webinars and employment information sessions
- Canada style resume and cover letter service
- Online learning content on relevant employment-related topics
- Soft skills sessions such as business communication and customer service
CONNECT
- Work with a Mentor in Canada – You will be matched with a Canadian professional working in your field who can share industry-specific occupation and career information
- Networking opportunities
- Employer connections through an online job matching platform, webinars and other employer-led events
- Settlement Services in your province of arrival
To register for the Canada InfoNet program, you will need the following:
- Plan to arrive in Canada in the next 2 to 12 months
At least one of the following documents is required:
- An IRCC invitation to obtain pre-arrival services
- A Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR) letter/document
- A passport request letter that indicates Permanent Resident visa issuance
- An IRCC request that an applicant for permanent residence complete a medical examination
- A Single Entry Permanent Resident Visa
- A Permanent Resident Visa pick up notification letter

- At this time, they are unable to support individuals emigrating from EU counties or immigrating to Quebec. Visit www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca if you are immigrating to that province.
